Purpose and commitments

This policy applies to Atipik SA, to all its employees, and to anyone speaking on its behalf.

Atipik SA does not carry out any activities aimed at influencing a public decision. It does not maintain relationships of influence with elected officials, government administrations or public services for that purpose, does not take part in consultation procedures, does not take a position on matters put to the vote, and does not mandate anyone to do so on its behalf.

Atipik SA works for public and semi-public clients. Responding to a call for tenders, negotiating a contract, meeting a purchasing department or delivering a service falls within the scope of the commercial relationship, not political influence.

Atipik speaks about its own sustainability practices at conferences and round tables, or through its CEO or its CSR manager. This is the sharing of a company’s experience, not a request addressed to public authorities.

Principles. Any influence activity, should one ever be undertaken, would be based on three rules, without exception:

  1. It would aim for a positive impact on society or the environment, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, never the defense of Atipik’s own commercial interest, and never the weakening of a social or environmental standard.
  2. It would be based on research published in peer-reviewed journals, public statistics, or Atipik’s own measured and documented data. The source underpinning the position would be cited when the position is expressed.
  3. No position would be taken without a decision by executive management. In the absence of an explicit decision, the answer is no.

Political contributions. Atipik SA has never made a contribution to a political party, candidate, campaign committee or political organization, and refrains from doing so. The prohibition covers both financial and in-kind contributions: donations, sponsorship, patronage, and the provision of services, hosting, working time or equipment free of charge or at a preferential rate. Employees’ personal political engagement is free and respected; it is exercised in a private capacity, never on behalf of Atipik SA or using its resources.

Integrity. Atipik SA does not offer, promise, solicit or accept any undue advantage intended to obtain a contract, a decision or preferential treatment, whether the counterpart belongs to the private or the public sector. The prohibition covers facilitation payments, gifts and invitations of a value likely to influence a decision, advantages granted to people close to a decision-maker, and the use of a third party to obtain indirectly what is prohibited directly. Customary hospitality of modest value remains acceptable; above CHF 500, it is declared to executive management. In public procurement procedures, Atipik SA signs the declarations of integrity and non-collusion required by the contracting authority.

Memberships. Atipik SA has been a member of the Fédération suisse des entreprises since 2023. This membership is aimed at networking, services and exchanges between small and medium-sized enterprises committed to a sustainable economy. The federation forms its own public positions, including on matters put to the vote, by consulting its members. Atipik SA holds no mandate within it, sits on none of its bodies and does not respond to its position-setting consultations; it does not use this membership as a channel of influence. Atipik SA has been a member of the Alliance Genevoise du Numérique (AGNum) association since 2026. This membership is aimed at networking, services and exchanges between Geneva companies in the field of digital technology and IT services. This association’s articles of association set out a purpose that is positive for society: it works to highlight the importance of keeping local jobs in the digital sector and of investing primarily in sovereign infrastructure, and it also takes part in setting up collective labor agreements with employers’ associations and trade unions.

Before any new membership, mandate or use of an intermediary, executive management checks that the organization’s public positions do not contradict Atipik’s commitments. Any future contribution to the forming of a position would be subject to the approval set out above and made public. Atipik SA reserves the right to leave, and to say so publicly, any organization whose public positions persistently contradict its own commitments, including when those positions are taken independently of Atipik.

In practice

Requests to take a position. Any invitation to sign an open letter, take part in a consultation, support a ballot measure or join a coalition is reviewed by executive management. Without an explicit decision, Atipik declines.

Annual review. Each year, executive management determines whether any influence activity has taken place, whether any political contribution has been made, whether memberships have changed, and whether any report has been received. The outcome, including when it is negative, is presented to the Management Committee. Any change triggers a revision of this policy.

  • Management Committee: approves the policy, oversees it and examines the outcome of the annual review.
  • Executive management: responsible for implementation. It decides on any request to take a position, conducts the annual review and proposes revisions.
  • Board of Directors: informed of the outcome of the annual review.
  • Employees: do not speak on behalf of Atipik SA on any matter subject to a public decision, forward any request received to executive management, and report any breach of this policy.

Communication and reporting

Any concern relating to the conduct of Atipik SA’s business or to the application of this policy may be reported. Stakeholders write to hello@atipik.ch or use the complaints procedure. Employees contact executive management or, if they prefer a confidential channel or if management is involved, the external trusted person, who can be contacted without approval from line management. The confidentiality of the person making the report is protected. Every report receives a response. None gives rise to retaliation.
